Red Dragon

As we approached the end of our DIY day, me and my family fancied Chinese so off we went to Red Dragon situated on a very busy Mile End road. As we stepped inside the ambience was very relaxed with bright vibrant colours situated around the walls. We were allocated a large table by a very friendly waitress who took down what we would like to drink.

The best thing was we didn’t have to wait for our dinner to arrive it was ready to eat and hot. With a wide selection of classic dishes ranging from chicken satay, chow mein, soup, prawn balls, chicken skewers, chips, sea weed, spring rolls to a variety of vegetarian dishes and much more I didn’t know where to start. I definitely had my taste buds tickled as the flavours were infusing with the beef in black bean sauce being a hit as the beef was tender with an exotic fusion of flavours enough to make your mouth water. The prawn crackers just disappeared in front of my eyes with my daughter and niece inhaling them rapidly. There was also a light selection of salad and sauces to enhance the chosen meals… and to top it off what more do you want on a beautiful summer’s day but ice-cream with sweet treacle for the whole family.

Staff were very attentive with regular checks being made on the buffet it self to ensure dishes were fully available and regularly spots of maintaining cleanliness around the rim and handles of spoons.

Above all the buffet was endless and we were all more than full as we ended our meal, an adults buffet cost £ 7.95 and a child’s cost £3.95 for the evening lunch prices vary. The kids were more excited about their sweets they got as they left with the total bill coming to £45.00 for a family of 7.
